Kristen Ross, 40, teacher, Riverside Elementary School, Cleveland Ohio

Kristen Ross was arrested and charged with sexual battery and unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. The student claims he had sex with Ross in her classroom on a desk after school on Jan. 15 and Jan. 31. Ross said the allegations were false, it was rumor started by the student, and someone tried to blackmail her about it, and it was all an April Fools prank.

Update Feb 4 2011: Kristen Ross pleaded guilty to felonious assault for having an "improper relationship" with a 14-year-old student. But in court, she told the students parents that even though she texted or phoned the boy nearly 4,000 times at all hours of the day and night, she never had sex with the boy. The police say she did, and that she also sent the boy a photo of her breasts. The judge sentenced her to two years in prison.

Update Feb 23 2012: Kristin Ross is getting an early release from prison.

NICHOLE CHAPMAN, 28

NICHOLE CHAPMAN, 28, is facing charges of having sex with a 19-year-old special needs student in North Carolina. Bizarrely the teenager's mother approves of the relationship and student himself and told local TV: 'I ain't no victim. If it is love, man, it's love. Nobody can stop this.' However, authorities disagree and have charged the teacher with two counts of 'taking indecent liberties' and two counts of committing a sexual offence.

Marla Gurecki-Haskins, 37, special education teacher, Canandaigua Academy, Canandaigua NY

Marla Gurecki-Haskins has been arrested for allegedly performing oral sex on a 17-year-old student on school property, and for allegedly using her cell phone and e-mail to try to encourage two 16-year-old male students to engage in sexual conduct with her. She denies any physical contact took place. Certain interwebs have dubbed her, the "Special Head-ucation" teacher.

Update Sept 2010: Gurecki-Haskins agreed to a plea bargain, for 45 days in jail plus three years probation in regards to two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and one charge of official misconduct.

Update Jan 6 2012: Gurecki-Haskins was sentenced today, to 45 days prison and 3 years probation.
