Amber Stroda turned herself in to the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office, after a warrant was issued charging her with 6 felonies. She is charged with 3 counts of Feloniously Engaging in Consensual Intercourse, and 3 counts of Feloniously Engaging in Consensual Sodomny. Allegedly she was involved in inappropriate relations with two high school students.

Update Aug 7 2013: Amber plead guilty to three felony counts of unlawful sexual relations.

Update Nov 13 2013: Amber was sentenced to 15 weekends in jail, plus 7 years probation.

Gabriela Cortez, 42, Spanish teacher, Roosevelt High School, Los Angeles California

Gabriela Cortez was arrested on Wednesday for alleged sexual relationships with two students. An alleged victim contacted police because his conscience was bothering him, and told them he was banging Gabby from 2008 to 2010. During the ensuing investigation, the police found another student that also allegedly screwed her. All at her house.

She taught Spanish at the school for 18 years.

Kathryn Camille Murray, 28, 8th grade teacher, Memorial Middle School, Houston Texas

Kathryn Camille Murray was arrested and charged with sexual assault of a child. Allegedly she was having sex with a 15 year old student in his home, when the boy's 12 year old brother walked in on them. The younger brother saw a tan bra and used condom on the floor. The older brother then introduced the younger brother to Mrs Murray. The boys parents were not home at the time.

A faculty member member had reported the inappropriate relationship on Feb 13, and the teacher was removed from her position. Murray had attended the school herself and was teaching there for three years. She tutored the boy after class and they started exchanging text messages. You see where this is going, right? Yep, next they fell in love and started having sex.

Murray emptied her bank account and bought a plane ticket to Mexico to visit her brother.  But after getting out of jail on bond, she has to wear an ankle monitor, so it looks like she will not be travelling any time soon. Murray has been married to a local lawyer since 2009.

Deborah Lee Tipton, 44, special education and eighth-grade math teacher, Mountain Community School, Hendersonville, North Carolina

Deborah Lee Tipton was charged with first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. Allegedly she videotaped a girl's genetalia and then disseminated the video "for the purpose of producing material containing a visual representation depicting this activity, the defendant knowing the character and content of the performance and material."

That allegation makes my skin crawl.

Monica Lee Teel, 27, Civics teacher, Murfreesboro High School, Murfreesboro Arkansas

Monica Lee Teel surrendered to authorities in connection with a series of sexual liaisons she allegedly carried on with a Murfreesboro student for more than a year. She was booked into the Hempstead County Detention Center on a single count of a charge of Sexual Assault in the First Degree. Allegedly the teacher was having regular sex with a student in a remote cabin.

Ashley Jean Campbell, 27, teacher, Montrose Christian School, Rockville MD.

Ashley Jean Campbell has been charged with having sex with a 16 year old student at Montrose Christian School in Rockville MD. Police received an anonymous tip about the relationship, and started an investigation. Allegedly the victim claims they had been together for a year and a half, and they liked to park in the parking lot of a park and bang away in the teacher's car.

Andrea Ebert, 30, Special Education teacher, Rice Lake Middle School, Rice Lake WI

Andrea Ebert has been arrested and charged with two counts of sexual assault. According to police, Ebert allegedly had sex with two different 17 year old students, on separate occasions, between Nov 9 2011 and Jan 31 2012. Allegedly she sent one boy 15 nude photos of herself.  The other kid got only 10. And he gave her a ride home from a bar.  If anyone has these pics, please send them to me at TeachersInCustody@gmail.com The criminal complaint alleges that Ebert admitted to spreading her legs for the boys and sending nude photos. A citizen tipped off police. Evidently Ebert was pulled out of class in the middle of the school day Friday, and transported by police to the police station, in a low-key manner. And allegedly the sexual contact with the boys happened in her homes in the city of Barron and the village of Cameron. Damn this skank hot box owned two houses!

The teacher is now on unpaid leave, and due back in court on March 22. Her husband filed divorce papers with the court yesterday.

Cristina Preston, 44, Special Education teacher, Veterans Memorial Middle School, Columbus GA

Cristina Preston was arrested for sexual assault on a 14 year old student. She is charged with two counts of child molestation, one count of enticing a child, and one count of sexual assault against a person in custody. A police report alleges that an incident took place at Cooper Creek Park off Milgen Road just after midnight on Monday. She has been teaching in the school district for 19 years.

Tammi Monty, 40, 6th grade teacher, Manitoba School, Milwaukee WI

Tammi Monty was arrested on felony child enticement. Police caught her half naked in her SUV with a 14 year old boy. Ummm, that is the bottom half that was naked.

Allegedly the teacher sent him nude pictures and an explicit 30 second video of herself, and had asked the boy for a photo of his genitals, and said she wanted to have sex with him. Allegedly the boy told police that on Jan 28th he received a text message from Tammi Monty, asking him if he wanted to go out with her. He replied yes, and Monty showed up to his home between 1:30 and 2:00 in the morning. The complaint says the two drove to an empty parking lot and parked, and were listening to music. The complaint says Monty then told the boy to get into the back seat, and take off his underwear, after which Monty removed her underwear as well. The complaint says Monty gave the boy a condom, and he opened it and was holding it when police walked up to the car. A Milwaukee police officer saw an SUV in the KK Sports Center parking lot, and walked up to the driver’s side door. Using his flashlight, the officer saw two people in the back seat, both naked from the waist down.

Lisa Gaye Placek, 45, Language Arts teacher, Traverse City West Senior High School, Traverse City MI

Lisa Gaye Placek has been arrested and charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct. Police allege that Placek met with a 15 year old male student while on Christmas break, and that she performed oral sex on the sophomore while in her car in Elmwood.

Placek was a well-liked girls volleyball coach and language arts teacher. The school district placed her on a leave of absence pending a criminal investigation on Jan 21, and terminated her employment on Jan 24.

Placek assuredly has a secure spot in the bleach blondest teacher arrested of all time.

Update Jan 2012: Placek was arraigned via video camera from her jail cell at around 3:30pm Monday afternoon. She was denied bail and is jailed until a Feb. 10 preliminary hearing. Wow, that is harsh!

Update Mar 2 2012: Placek plead guilty to a lesser count of assault with intent to commit sexual penetration. Sentencing will be Mar 12. She could get up to 10 years in prison. The prosecutor is happy with the plea, saying "We didn't have a statement from her. We could go to trial, and it could be a he-said, she-said type of situation."

Joanne Léger-Legault, ??, teacher, Merivale High School, Ottawa Canada

Joanne Léger-Legault pleaded no contest to allegations of professional misconduct involving four male students. Read the official case against her here, which states, "By her own admission, the Member violated student/teacher boundaries by engaging in inappropriate conduct that included transporting students in her car, meeting with students outside of the school setting, discussing personal issues, exchanging text messages and e-mails of an inappropriate personal nature, kissing one of the students on the lips, and having an intimate sexual relationship with two of the students.

No criminal charges have been filed in this case. These sanctions were handed down by the Ontario College of Teachers discipline committee. Joanne Léger-Legault has been stripped of her teaching license.

Sarah Holmes, 22, English teacher, North Pitt High School, Bethel NC

Sarah Holmes was arrested for having an inappropriate relationship with a 17-year-old male student. Police received a report in November and began an investigation. The teacher was suspended and then resigned a few days later. Holmes graduated from East Carolina University in 2011, and was in her first year of teaching - hired in August 2011. She started banging the student within days of taking the job, and continued until November when she got caught and was suspended.

Jennifer Schultz, 25, teacher, Hebron ND

Jennifer Schultz teacher allegedly allowed four boys into her home in late October, and allegedly provided them with alcohol. She allegedly had sex with one boy, and then allegedly was turned down by another boy. This part is not alleged, she got charged with two counts of sexual assault, one count of corruption of a minor, and another count of delivery of alcohol to a minor.

It is believed to be her first teaching job (and likely her last). The school district released her, and she moved back to Minnesota.

Heather Lasseigne Chiasson, 27, teacher, South Lafourche High School, Lafourche LA

Heather Chiasson was charged with with prohibited sexual conduct between an educator and a student. Allegedly she had sex with a 17-year-old student. The student was interviewed by police and spilled the beans. Allegedly he showed the detectives graphic sexual messages on his cell phone.

Melissa Mathis, 37, English teacher, Ripley High School, Ripley MS

Melissa Mathis teacher was arrested and charged with two counts of sexual battery by a person of authority. Someone made a complaint to school officials, who contacted police. The police investigation found evidence that she had sex with, and had been sexting pictures to a student. The student admitted everything to police. Two incidents happened within a week of each other. Everything above is alleged, sorry I forgot to say that.

Interesting fact I've never seen posted before in other cases: This cougar is listed as 5’8” and 145 lbs. According to this BMI calculator, that puts her BMI at 22, and her weight in the 21st percentile for her age and height. So 79% of women her age are fatter - not bad at all, I wish I could find some better pictures of her.

Update Jan 27 2012: Melissa Mathis waived an indictment and has pleaded guilty to one count of sexual battery. She was sentenced to one year house arrest and five years post release supervision. Damn they do things quickly there in Mississippi! I have never heard of a case settled so quickly! Some go on for 2 or 3 years...

Emma Jean Hardy, 57, high school registrar, Memorial High School, Port Arthur TX

Emma Jean Hardy was found engaged in a sex act with a 17-year-old boy, in a car near the pier in downtown Port Arthur at 8pm.  Damn, she is 57 years old.  The police arrested her and the boy.

Amberlee Evonne Meeker, 28, 3rd grade teacher, South Daytona Elementary School, South Daytona FL

Amberlee Evonne Meeker has been arrested and charged by with indecent liberties with a child, solicit a child by computer or certain other electronic devices to commit an unlawful sex act, disseminate obscene material to a minor less than 16 and preparing obscene photographs and/or other materials.

The charges were filed by the Archdale North Carolina police department. Meeker resides in Florida, and was a 3rd and 4th grade teacher in South Daytona Florida. She resigned from her teaching position the day after her arrest.

It looks like she was getting a haircut in this picture.

Symantha Hicks, 30, guidance counselor, Valley Forge Military Academy, Radnor PA

Symantha Hicks allegedly unbuckled a student's trousers and performed oral sex on him, while alone with the student in her office.  Allegedly she supplied students with alcohol too.

Lianne Marie Trout, 27, Special Education teacher, Mt Whitney High School, Visalia CA

Lianne Marie Trout has been arrested and charged with unlawful sex with a minor and oral copulation. She has only been teaching special education for 4 months, and resigned shortly before the arrest.  Police believe there may be other victims.

Heather Daughdrill, 28, Bible School teacher, Westlake LA

Heather Daughdrill was arrested for having sex with a 13 year old boy from her summer bible study class, multiple times. She allegedly picked up the boy from school without his parents knowledge. Then they would go back to her place and fock. Their 'sexual relationship' lasted from June to October 2011. Police allegedly found explicit text messages that the two exchanged.

From the rings on her left hand, I'd guess she is married.
