Stacy Stracener, 36, Science teacher, Cabot Junior High North, Cabot Arkansas

Stacey Stracener was arrested on 11 counts of First Degree Sexual Assault and 2 counts of Second Degree Sexual Assault. The 15 year old victim told his mother he and Stacy had sexual contact including intercourse 13 times. The boy's mother found a crapload of text messages on his phone from the teacher.

Stracener once taught the boy in 7th grade and was a friend of his family, often attending BMX bike races with them and her own family.

Waleska Velasquez, 29, Science teacher, Miami Jackson Senior High, Miami FL

Waleska Velasquez was allegedly involved in a sexual relationship with a 16 year old student for the past year. She was arrested and charged with three counts of having sex with a minor.

Police say Velasquez has confessed to having sexual relations with the student from August 2009 through 2010. Allegedly she gave the boy gifts, cash and a cellphone she used to send him romantic texts and photos of herself nude and in sexy lingerie. The school district is starting termination proceedings.

Danielle Johnsen, 29, science teacher, Notre Dame Academy, Staten Island NY

Danielle Johnsen, a Staten Island Catholic school teacher, is accused of having sexual contact with a student. She was released without bail, and her lawyer say the entire story was made up by the student. Allegedy the female student and teacher engaged in makeout sessions, and the teacher used her hand to perform something on the student.

Ok, where is the evidence. Is this just a "she said, she said" case?

Kristin Ostmann, 25, Science teacher, Olmsted High School, Olmsted OH

This young teacher, Kristin Ostmann, allegedly rented a room at the Red Roof Inn so she could hook up with an 18 year old student. Allegedly her hotel room of choice was the Red Roof Inn in Middleburg Heights - on four occasions - Feb. 18, 19, 25 and March 4. She resigned April 15th, before her first year of teaching was over. Talk about being unable to control your behavior!

Update May 13 2011: Kristin Ostmann was arraigned on four charges of sexual battery. She pleaded not guilty to all charges. The judge said she must submit to an HIV test and have no contact with the victim.

Update Aug 17 2011: Kristin Ostmann accepted a plea deal. She pleaded guilty to aggravated assault in exchange for a reduction of charges.

Update Oct 4 2011: Kristin Ostmann was sentenced to six months in prison.

Deanna Marie Robert, 43, Science teacher, Tamassee-Salem Middle and High School, Salem SC

Deanna Marie Robert has been arrested and charge with “engaging child under 18 for sexual performance.” She is no longer a school district employee. Allegedly the offense took place with a boy she was tutoring after school.

Update Sept 26 2011: Deanna pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual battery with a student. She has been placed on house arrest for a year, with 5 years probation.

Jennifer Riojas, 25, Science teacher, Carter-Riverside High School, Fort Worth TX

Jennifer Riojas, 27, a science teacher in Fort Worth, Texas, was pregnant when arrested for sexual assault in November after allegedly having sex with a 16-year-old student. The pupil came forward because he was worried that the baby was his. He told police they met in motels, and even had sex when he was in a hospital bed recovering from a football injury.  Riojas has denied all allegations.  She resigned from the school district, citing stress on her pregnancy due to the rumors, and not believing secondary education was here calling. A second student was also rumored to have had sex with Riojas.

Update Jan 17 2012:  Riojas pleaded guilty to having an improper relationship with a 16-year-old male student. She received six years deferred adjudication probation, and will not be able to teach again.  Regarding the father of her baby, Riojas attorney said, "if you do the math, the teenager could not be the child's father as their last sexual encounter was in January of 2009 and she gave birth exactly one year later".
