First lets start out with the fact that Australia has different laws than the USA, which prevents the naming of the teacher, the school or the location of the offences. But a teacher pleaded guilty to five sex offences between November 2010 and January 2011. The lesbian teacher had an 8 month sexual relationship with a female student. She pleaded guilty to four charges of sexual penetration of a child under 16 or 17 in her care, supervision or authority, and one count of committing an indecent act. She was sentenced to three years' jail, with eight months to be served immediately, and the remaining 28 months were suspended.

Evidently the teacher and student told each other they loved each other. They exchanged 100s of text messages, would meet in local parks, sleep in the teacher's car together, and even skipped school to be with each other. The students mother was pissed off though, due to here daughter's innocence being violated.

Waleska Velasquez, 29, Science teacher, Miami Jackson Senior High, Miami FL

Waleska Velasquez was allegedly involved in a sexual relationship with a 16 year old student for the past year. She was arrested and charged with three counts of having sex with a minor.

Police say Velasquez has confessed to having sexual relations with the student from August 2009 through 2010. Allegedly she gave the boy gifts, cash and a cellphone she used to send him romantic texts and photos of herself nude and in sexy lingerie. The school district is starting termination proceedings.

Kimberly Bynum, 29, math teacher, Vina High School, Vina AL

Kimberly Dawn Bynum was jailed on a charge of school employee engaging in deviant sexual intercourse with a student under the age of 19. According to police, Bynum reportedly became friends with a 12th grade student that gradually turned into a sexual relationship towards the end of the school year.

It would not have been a problem, if she could have just waited a little longer.

And really, they have to call it "deviant sexual intercourse"?

Update Nov 15 2011: Kimberly Bynum has been indicted by the Grand Jury. Her arraignment is cheduled for Jan 4 2012, and the case could go to trial in Feb.

Danielle Johnsen, 29, science teacher, Notre Dame Academy, Staten Island NY

Danielle Johnsen, a Staten Island Catholic school teacher, is accused of having sexual contact with a student. She was released without bail, and her lawyer say the entire story was made up by the student. Allegedy the female student and teacher engaged in makeout sessions, and the teacher used her hand to perform something on the student.

Ok, where is the evidence. Is this just a "she said, she said" case?

Jennifer Sowa Smith, 29, Steel Valley High School, Munhall PA

Jennifer Sowa Smith is facing charges due to allegedly texting nude pictures of her breasts and vagina to at least five male students, two of whom were under 16. Smith allegedly told one teen she "wanted to perform oral sex on him after school in her class."  She also allegedly told one student that she "wanted to have sex with him over her desk in her classroom". She allegedly asked another student to come over her house to have sex and drink together. Another student received nude pictures from Smith, and he stated that she would say, 'My husband is never home. I am so lonely and haven't had sex forever.'  The students circulated the nude pictures of the teacher amongst themselves, though she told them to delete them.

Her next court appearance is scheduled for late July.

Update Jan 5 2012:  Jennifer has pleaded guilty to sending four students graphic pictures of her naked breasts and vagina, before asking them round for sex. Jenny also asked one student to send her a picture of his penis, which he did. Smith received 5 years probation and lost her teaching license.

Dorothy Dixon, 29, special education teacher, Northgate High School, Newnan GA

Dorothy Dixon was charged with one count of child molestation. Her husband discovered sexting messages on her cell phone, and figured she was having an affair. Eventually he found out her relationship was with a 15 year old special needs student. The husband turned her in to police.

I guess he was kind of PO'ed.  Way to get revenge!

Randi Savage, 31, Reading teacher, Cheatham Middle School, Clarksville TX

Randi Lynn Bratcher Savage has been arrested and charged with two felonies. She is alleged to have sent sexually explicit notes, cellphone messages, and facebook messages to a 13 year old boy. Allegedy she kissed and hugged the boy. The boy's parents contacted the police. The school has removed her from her teaching position.

Update June 12 2012: The boy's mother found a note in the kids pants while doing the laundry.  Allegedly it was written by Savage Randi, and detailed sexually explicit things she wanted to do with the boy.

Update Feb 14 2012: Randi pleaded guilty, was sentenced to 5 five years in prison.

Keenon Aampay Hall, 29, English teacher, Shiloh High School, Snellville GA

Keenon Aampay Hall was voted Teacher of the Year at Shiloh High School. But now she has resigned, after being accused of seducing a student who came to her for help with homework. Allegedly Hall gave the student gifts, and tried to get him to impregnate her. The student refused, she failed him, he (predictably) went to the authorities.

Kimme Woolf, 29, teacher, Perrin High School, Perrin TX

Kimme Woolf was arrested for having sex with 2 students, 16 and 18 years old. According to the arrest warrant complaint, two Perrin High School students approached Woolf about a rumor she had left Mineral Wells schools because she was “messing around with students” and asked if she wanted to “fool around.” She declined, but the boys persisted, and eventually she agreed (allegedly).  Woolf met with the students on a gravel road where she allegedly performed oral sex on both of them. After that Woolf allegedly met with the 18-year-old at least two additional times for sex.

Parent's of the boys found text messages that revealed the sexual acts between their sons and the female teacher. After contacting Woolf they approached the principal and CPS was notified. Woolf's husband reportedly met with investigators and told them his wife called him around Oct. 22 and told him she had a letter he needed to read, court records state. When he jokingly asked if she was having sex with a student, Woolf reportedly told him she was, according to the affidavit. He told the investigator he had suspected she was having an affair.

Allegedly, the students parents sent her text messages, and wrote her a letter urging her to resign. She refused, but later said she would resign, but never did. That's when the parents contacted the authorities.

What an idiot! She could have got away with it, but I think now she is going to jail...

Update June 4 2011:  Kimme Woolf entered a guilty plea and agreed to an 8 year prison sentence. Woolf’s attorney asked the judge to delay sentencing until July 1 so she could arrange for resignation of her employment, finalize bankruptcy proceedings and spend time with her two 18-month-old twins.  This website says she is 5'4" and weighs 190 pounds.

Ashley Herre-Bagwell, 29, English teacher, Monessen High School, Monessen PA

Ashley Herre-Bagwell has reportedly been arrested on allegations that she had sexual contact with at least three female students. She came to the attention of authorities after the mother of one of the alleged victims noticed the many phone calls and text messages from online records, and contacted the teacher before notifying school officials. Allegedly she told the girls that she was bisexual, and that she loved them.

Ashley is married but has no children.

Update Aug 26 2011: Ashley Herre-Bagwell pleaded guilty to indecently assaulting three female students, in exchange for a recommended sentence of seven years' probation that includes a year on house arrest.

Update Jan 8 2012: Ashley Herre-Bagwell was sentenced to seven years on probation, including one year on house arrest while connected to an electronic monitor.

Christine A. McCallum, 29, 5th grade teacher, Abington MA

Christine McCallum is accused of statutory rape. She allegedly had sex with a minor 300 times over an 18 month period, police said. She spread for the student on the boy's kitchen floor, and his bedroom. They also has sex in the shower, living room and bedroom of her home. Allegedly the victim and Christine McCallum first had sex on February 7, 2006 on a couch in her Rockland home, while her husband and his younger brother slept upstairs. This started when the lucky bastard victim was 13-years old (he is now 16). He said he and the teacher had unprotected sex "possibly every other day," a police report said.

McCallum pleaded not guilty to the charges against her.

Update Feb 5 2009:  Christine McCallum has applied for unemployement benefits.

Update Sept 23 2011: Christine McCallums trial, scheduled for Sept 20 2011, has been pushed back to Nov 7 2011.

Cameo Patch, 29, substitute teacher, Tooele High School, Tooele UT

Cameo Patch is facing felony charges for allegedly performing oral sex on a 17-year-old male student. She was arrested after an informant disclosed the alleged relationship to a school resource officer, who then contacted police. During an interview with investigators at the Police Department, the student admitted the sexual contact occurred..

Police said that Patch and the boy met at a restaurant in Tooele, where they exchanged phone numbers and arranged to meet later that evening to talk. It was during the second meeting at an undisclosed location that the sexual contact allegedly occurred. The informant stated Patch “performed oral sex” on the student, but did not engage in sexual intercourse.

The Tooele County School District issued a statement saying it “has removed [Patch] from the substitute pool.”

Update Sept 22 2006: Cameo Patch received probation for 36 months, and ordered to obtain a psycho-sexual evaluation, as well as pay a $2,000 fine. She got divorced last month and is seeking to rebuild her relationship with her 3 kids.
