Lisa Gaye Placek, 45, Language Arts teacher, Traverse City West Senior High School, Traverse City MI

Lisa Gaye Placek has been arrested and charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct. Police allege that Placek met with a 15 year old male student while on Christmas break, and that she performed oral sex on the sophomore while in her car in Elmwood.

Placek was a well-liked girls volleyball coach and language arts teacher. The school district placed her on a leave of absence pending a criminal investigation on Jan 21, and terminated her employment on Jan 24.

Placek assuredly has a secure spot in the bleach blondest teacher arrested of all time.

Update Jan 2012: Placek was arraigned via video camera from her jail cell at around 3:30pm Monday afternoon. She was denied bail and is jailed until a Feb. 10 preliminary hearing. Wow, that is harsh!

Update Mar 2 2012: Placek plead guilty to a lesser count of assault with intent to commit sexual penetration. Sentencing will be Mar 12. She could get up to 10 years in prison. The prosecutor is happy with the plea, saying "We didn't have a statement from her. We could go to trial, and it could be a he-said, she-said type of situation."

April Patzkowsky, 32, teachers aide, W.K. Kellogg Middle School, Battle Creek MI

April Patzkowsky has been charged with sexual assault involving a middle school student that she helped in class. She was picked up in Brownsville TX. It is unknown if she was attempting to flee the country or not.

Update Nov 9 2011: April Patzkowsky has been sentenced to 7 to 15 years in prison. She has lost her husband and child as a result of this crime.
Wow that is a long sentence! Seems way too long to me...

Heidi Lewis, 41, substitute teacher, Bay City Central High School, Bay City MI

Heidi Lewis is alleged to have had sex with 3 different teenage boys. Allegedy, it all started when she exchanged cell phone numbers with boy1. They talked, she came over to his house and banged him. He told boy2 about it, and boy2 thought boy1 was full of crap. So boy1 called Heidi, and SHE RUSHED RIGHT OVER and had a threesome with boy1 and boy2! Guess boy1 was not a lying! Then boy2 told boy3. Predictably, sex soon ensued between Heidi and boy3, in Heidi's Jeep Cherokee. Then boy3 told his girlfriend about it. That's when things started going downhill for Heidi and the 3 boys. Girl tells school principal, school principal tells police, police make arrests, etc etc etc. I wonder how many more boys would have gone drilling, if the girl had not tattled.

Heidi substituted for another teacher who was out due to surgery. She taught British literature from January 2010 until the time school let out in early June. Reportedly she has a 17 year old son.

Update Sept 15 2011: Heidi Lewis’s trial will not begin on Sept. 20, but has been rescheduled for Oct. 18.

Update Oct 18 2011: Heidi Lewis’s trial has been rescheduled again, to allow the defense time to review recently discovered materials.

Update Feb 6 2012: Heidi's trial will begin tomorrow!

Update Feb 7 2012: Heidi's trial was postponed again, at the prosecutors request.

Marcie Rousseau, 34, English teacher, Freeland High School, Freeland MI

Marcie Rousseau is a 33-year-old married mother of two.

In some cases, you just cannot make this stuff up! Amongst her alleged offences: having sex with a 16 year old student 100 times (without a condom) within a 9 month period - in her home, the teen's home, at area hotels and in her two vehicles. Telling the student she was in love with him. Having sex with another high school senior in 2006. Being in a sexual relationship with the principal of the school at the same time. Writing a paper for another student and adding him as “Sexy Stud 21” on her cell phone contact list. Flirting with the jocks. If a male pupil needed a pencil, she would put one in her pocket and make the student get it out of her pocket.

Update Nov 29 2010: Marcie pleaded guilty.

Update Dec 16 2010: Marcie was sentenced to four to 15 years in prison for 21 sex crimes against a 16-year-old student.

Personally I agree with Marcie's lawyer that this sentence is way too severe. She should get punished, but why have other similar ~~bang boxes~~ cases gotten probation and no jail time (probably too lenient)?

Update Feb 2 2011: Some other sicko has been jailed for 8 years for killing her newborn son (and Marcie got 4 years for being a sex maniac?), and is in the same jail as Marcie. Here are some interesting facts about the jail.
