Barbara Jeanne Anderson was arrested, allegedy due to a relationship she had with a student at her school. Allegedy the student told his uncle he was getting laid by a teacher. Allegedy the students mother found a crapload of text messages from the teacher, on her son's phone. Allegedy she tutored the student after school, and he said she was the best focking math teacher he ever had. Big surprise there, huh?

July 29 2011: Barbara Jeanne Anderson pleaded guilty to first-degree sexual misconduct with a minor for having sexual contact with a 17-year-old male student.

Update Sept 12 2011: Barbara Anderson was sentenced to eight months in jail.  Some more details of the case were revealed, such as: the boy was suicidal, the teacher took him under her wing, they exchanged over 800 text messages, she texted him her sex fantasies, they screwed in his car, the mom got suspicious / found the text messages, etc etc etc.

Taryn Fairbanks, 33, English teacher, Garfield High School, Seattle WA

Taryn Fairbanks is reportedly being accused of having sex with a 17-year-old male student during a party at his home when his parents were out of town. The police investigation started when a mom checking her daughter's cell phone noticed a text detailing a teacher's sexual history - and that history belonged to Taryn Fairbanks.

A 19 year old former student also says he had a sexual relationship with Fairbanks, about a year after he graduated.

It is reported that Fairbanks got married in 2009 to a man who graduated Garfield High School in 2003 when she was a teacher there. The couple are apparently getting a divorce now.

Update Apr 8 2011: Taryn Fairbanks was sentenced to six months in jail for first-degree sexual misconduct with a minor. Fairbanks admitted to Seattle Police that while in the midst of an alcohol relapse, she had oral sex with the 17-year-old male student on June 23 2010 in the basement bedroom of his home.
