Laura Michelle Gallegos, 38, teacher's aide, Shasta High School, Redding, CA

Laura Michelle Gallegos has been arrested for allegedly engaging in sex with with a member of the Orland High School wrestling team, including in the stands during a state wrestling meet in Bakersfield. She is also accused of having exchanges of sexually explicit text messages with another juvenile male on the wrestling team.

Evidently one of the students mothers was checking his cell phone, and he admitted he was sexting the teacher's aide. A police investigation ensued. Gallegos was the mother of a wrestler at an unidentified school.

Update June 14 2011:  Her trial is set to begin Nov 14.

Update Feb 18 2012: Laura Michelle Gallegos changed her plea to guilty, to one felony count of arranging a meeting with a minor with the purpose of committing lewd acts. She was facing a trial beginning Feb 21. As part of the deal, 9 felony charges were dismissed. She faces up to 4 years in prison.

Bailey Tokheim, 25, Teacher's aide, Eagle Grove High School, Eagle Grove IA

Bailey Tokheim was charged with an aggravated misdemeanor. She is accused of sexting nude photos of herself, and having sex with, a student above the age of consent. Authorities say parents of a student contacted police after seeing the inappropriate photos on the teen's computer. The photos were allegedly sent over a seven-month period. Her husband is an Eagle Grove police officer and Army combat veteran.

Zenna Galeria, 23, teachers aide, American Falls High School, American Falls ID

Zenna Galeria has been officially charged with felony sexual battery. She has not been arrested because of her cooperation, officers said. She will be served a summons for her arraignment on August 15.

Galeria was fired after an investigation into her relationship with a 17 year old student. Allegedly the relationship started with text messaging and ended in shagging something physical.  The head volleyball coach/teacher's aide and the student have had an ongoing relationship for the last five months. The sheriff's office believes it started during the last half of the school year.

Evidently Zenna is married to a guy named Robbie.

Update Aug 15 2011: Galeria was in court for her arraignment, and is due back in court August 26th at 10 a.m.

Update Sept 9 2011: Zenna Galeria pleaded not guilty to the charges against her.

Update Nov 14 2011: Zenna has changed her plea to guilty, evidently in hopes of getting a lighter sentence.  She will be sentenced Jan 14 2012.

Update Jan 13 2012: Zenna was sentenced to 45 days in jail.

Holly Polson, 35, teachers aide, Shadow Hills middle school, Palmdale CA

Holly Polson was arrested for allegedly engaging in repeated sexual episodes with a 13-year-old boy. They engaged in these acts while in a vacant classroom on the school campus. Holly had been tutoring the victim during and after school on the school campus, and I guess things just got out of hand. The jig was up, as soon as a relative of the victim discovered inappropriate text messages from the suspect on the victim’s cell phone.

Holly is a married mother of 4 children.

Update Mar 2 2012: Polson pleaded no contest to four counts of lewd act on a child under 14. Allegedly she admitted the crimes to police. She has been in jail for almost 9 months already, since her arrest June 14 2011.

April Patzkowsky, 32, teachers aide, W.K. Kellogg Middle School, Battle Creek MI

April Patzkowsky has been charged with sexual assault involving a middle school student that she helped in class. She was picked up in Brownsville TX. It is unknown if she was attempting to flee the country or not.

Update Nov 9 2011: April Patzkowsky has been sentenced to 7 to 15 years in prison. She has lost her husband and child as a result of this crime.
Wow that is a long sentence!  Seems way too long to me...

Michelle Rose Chlan, 26, Teacher's Aide, Shakopee High School, Shakopee Minnesota

Michelle Rose Chlan has been charged with three counts of third degree Criminal Sexual Conduct. She is accused of having sexual relations with a male student, who was 16-years-old when the alleged relationship began, which lasted from June 2009 to July 2010.

Update Dec 2011: Michelle Chlan pleaded guilty.

Update Feb 23 2012: Michelle Chlan has been sentenced to three months in jail. Allegedly she performed oral sex on the boy once behind a K-Mart and twice behind a Burnsville soccer complex.

Tonia Martin, 38, Teachers Aide, Rogers Creek Elementary School, Athens TN

Tonia Martin was indicted for having a sexual relationship with a 16 year old boy.

Update Aug 2011: Tonia acknowledged in McMinn County Criminal Court that she had sex with the 16 year old boy (who was her daughter's boyfriend) on two occasions. She did not enter a guilty plea, but applied for diversion and a judge granted her request.

Leslie Baird, 42, teachers aide, Tooele High School, Tooele UT

Leslie Baird faces charges of having sex with two high school students. She also screwed a third student, but since he was 18, she lucked out and avoided charges in that case. A parent of a student complained to police that Leslie had sent explicit text messages to the teenage student. A second parent complained she had given a student alcohol.

I LOVE IT when 40 year old women bleach their hair that extremely un-natural white blonde color.  Where's the dark purple mascara and blood red fingernails though?  She would look great in a black leather miniskirt and yellow spandex scoop top...

Update April 17 2007:  Leslie was sentenced to 1 year in jail.
