Gabriela Cortez was arrested on Wednesday for alleged sexual relationships with two students. An alleged victim contacted police because his conscience was bothering him, and told them he was banging Gabby from 2008 to 2010. During the ensuing investigation, the police found another student that also allegedly screwed her. All at her house.

She taught Spanish at the school for 18 years.

Cathleen Balman, 42, teacher, Clearwater Middle School, Clearwater KS

Cathleen Balman had a year long sexual relationship with a 15 year old boy.  She got caught.

Shannon Hirchert, 42, Special Needs teacher, Martha Layne Collins High School, Shelbyville KY

Shannon Hirchert is facing charges for allegedly having sexual contact with two students. Allegedly she sent pornographic picture of herself to the students from her cell phone. If you have any of these pictures, PLEASE e-mail them to TeachersInCustody@gmail.com. Allegedly she had 5 encounters with one student, and 1 with the other. Allegedly the encounters occurred in a classroom and parking lots.

Sarah Jane Lindsay, 42, Kindergarten teacher, Boiling Springs Elementary, Spartanburg SC

Sarah Jane Lindsay is charged with nine counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and criminal sexual conduct with a minor between 11 and 14 years old.  Evidently she and her good friend Audrey Beidleman Grabarkiewicz threw parties for teenagers that involved alcohol, marijuana and sex. Evidently Sarah is in much more trouble than her fellow cougar Audrey, due to the fact that Sarah screwed underage boys (I think under 14), while Audrey only screwed overage boys. One kid's parents found out he had been given alcohol, an investigation started, and then the parties were over...

Update June 15 2011: Sarah has been jailed again, charged with a home detention violation. After her original arrest in Sept 2010 she was released on a $50,000 bond, placed on home detention and required electronic monitoring. Lindsay was arrested after she couldn't give authorities documentation of where she went May 24. She will stay in jail until she goes to court.

Update Feb 9 2012: Sarah has pleaded guilty to lots of stuff. She was sentenced to 10 years, suspended to 40 months, and will receive credit for the 473 days she has already spent in jail. What the F does that mean? So is her sentence 10 years, or 40 months? I do not get it. Also Sarah looks much worse now.

Leslie Baird, 42, teachers aide, Tooele High School, Tooele UT

Leslie Baird faces charges of having sex with two high school students. She also screwed a third student, but since he was 18, she lucked out and avoided charges in that case. A parent of a student complained to police that Leslie had sent explicit text messages to the teenage student. A second parent complained she had given a student alcohol.

I LOVE IT when 40 year old women bleach their hair that extremely un-natural white blonde color.  Where's the dark purple mascara and blood red fingernails though?  She would look great in a black leather miniskirt and yellow spandex scoop top...

Update April 17 2007:  Leslie was sentenced to 1 year in jail.
