Christa Rene Tharp was arrested on suspicion of oral copulation with a person under the 18 years of age, contacting a minor with the intent to commit a sexual offense, molesting a child under 18 years of age and sending harmful matter to a minor with the intent to seduce.

Police allege she had an “ongoing sexual relationship” with a juvenile she met while coaching a local youth softball team. Details are scant since the case is still under investigation and there may be more victims, police said.

Update Sept 2 2011: Christa Tharp is back in jail after police found out she met with her victim and another girl.
