Courtney Bowles was arrested after police
found her nude in a car on top of a student. Bowles is an "instructional coach" at Mountain View High School whose role was teaching teachers about keeping a professional distance with students. She was being held on $50,000 person recognizance bond.
In the arrest affidavit, officer Sharon Hopkins wrote, "As I approached the vehicle, I saw a fully naked male and a fully naked female in the second row of seats. The female was on top of the male and she quickly jumped off the male when she saw my flashlight shining into the vehicle."
Update Mar 29 2011: Courtney Bowles has pleaded guilty to one felony count of child abuse resulting in serious bodily injury. 3 other charges against her were dropped.
Update Mar 29 2011: Courtney Bowles was sentenced to 10 years of intensive supervised sex offender probation. In addition she must perform 80 hours of community service and register as a sex offender. Bowles will serve no jail time.
