April St. John Alexander, a former biology teacher at MacArthur High in Irving, was charged with one count of inappropriate relationship between student and teacher after police say she had sex with a male student more than 20 times during a three-month period. They allegedly got busy at the school and in her car. According to Irving police, Alexander resigned from the school in November of 2010.

ReplyDeleteFirst comment deleted. It was just calling this woman a nasty name. Really served no good purpose.

ReplyDeleteWhen I read about this case & saw a picture of the woman, I was reminded of "The Summer of 42." This would not be much of an issue were the teacher a 26 year-old man and the victim was a high school girl. In this case, the teenage boy enjoys unbridled sex with this VERY BEAUTIFUL young woman, yet HE is called a VICTIM. Had she gotten pregnant by him, yes indeed, he would be a victim. Obviously, this woman has some MAJOR mental issues. She could EASILY be dating a well-to-do doctor or lawyer, but NO, she's willing to settle for some young punk kid. Any heterosexual high school boy would JUMP at the chance to seduce & bed this woman. If it's ILLEGAL, why isn't the 17 year-old boy also charged with a crime? What did this teacher do... hold a gun to his head? With that said, is she guilty? Probably so. Should she go to jail or prison? Probably so. Should she be labelled a sex offender? Probably so. Would I, as the judge, throw the book at her? Probably not. She's just too damn pretty.
