Randi Savage, 31, Reading teacher, Cheatham Middle School, Clarksville TX

Randi Lynn Bratcher Savage has been arrested and charged with two felonies. She is alleged to have sent sexually explicit notes, cellphone messages, and facebook messages to a 13 year old boy. Allegedy she kissed and hugged the boy. The boy's parents contacted the police. The school has removed her from her teaching position.

Update June 12 2012: The boy's mother found a note in the kids pants while doing the laundry.  Allegedly it was written by Savage Randi, and detailed sexually explicit things she wanted to do with the boy.

Update Feb 14 2012: Randi pleaded guilty, was sentenced to 5 five years in prison.

Christina McCann, 39, teacher, Lake Travis High School, Austin TX

Christina McCann is wanted, for allegedly engaging in oral sex and intercourse with an 18-year-old male student during a school trip to Fort Worth. Allegedly the teacher bought beer for the students on the trip. Reports say she will turn herself into police Mon June 6.

Update:  Evidently she did turn herself in.  I guess that's where the mugshot photo came from.

Abby McElhenny, 23, Spanish teacher, Boiling Springs High School, Boiling Springs SC

Abby McElhenny was allegedly seen by friends, holding hands with a teen at a restaurant, and the city’s annual Spring Fling festival. That teen's mother also found hundreds of text messages exchanged between teacher and student. OOOPS!

McElhenny resigned from her teaching position on Tuesday May 31, and turned herself into authorities on Wednesday June 1, when she was arrested. She has been charged with sexual battery of a student 16 or 17 years of age.
